The ECARE project and the Clean Aviation Joint Undertaking, in cooperation with the SESAR 3 Joint Undertaking, are pleased to announce an exclusive joint info session dedicated to exploring synergies between European and national/regional research and innovation programmes in the aviation sector.
Date & Location:
- Tuesday, 10 December 2024
- In person only at the White Atrium, Avenue de la Toison d’Or 56-60, Brussels, Belgium
- 09:30 - 16:30 (Brussels time)
Agenda Highlights
The info session will feature two engaging parts that spotlight collaboration opportunities, strategies, and achievements within the aviation sector:
In the first part of the info session the ECARE project and Aeronautic regions will showcase their approach to establish synergies with the Clean Aviation Joint Undertaking through strategies alignment (e.g. Smart Specialisation Strategies), Memoranda of Cooperation, joint roadmaps for “Net-Zero Aviation” and cooperation modalities. In particular, the regions will highlight their experience and achievements in designing and launching regional calls for proposals contributing to the Clean Aviation objectives and will present key projects that have resulted from these calls.
In the second part of the session, Coordination and Support Actions launched under Clean Aviation, SESAR 3 and Horizon Europe will present their activities (including key results and main achievements), e.g. in supporting the establishment of synergies between EU & regional & national programmes or the cooperation between academia and the ATM industry. In addition, networks will highlight their work helping different stakeholders in applying and participating in Horizon Europe or businesses, in particular SMEs, to grow on an international scale.
The info session will include presentations from:
